thumbs up"Hurray I'm registered!"(use this thread to introduce yourself)

Hello

I just stumbled on this site a few hours ago. I usually lurk for a good while before I post, but it's so great to find a place where people share my not-so-popular desire to be childfree. I'm 26 and live in West Texas, so you can imagine I feel pretty isolated down here. Never liked kids and can't remember a time I ever thought I might want one. Looking forward to exploring more of this place soon.

So grateful to have found this site!
Been lurking for awhile now and decided to register. I love the wit and humor on this board. Thanks to reading it, now every time I see a baby, I think "that's an ugly loaf".

So HI!!!! :hello

About me:I'm 25, female, been married to DH for almost 4 years now and absolutely abhor the thought of anything related to parenthood. We live in southwest US and enjoy Xbox, craft beer and sleeping in (along with all the other amazing things that come with being childfree). I work in the airline industry as an airport trainer/auditor and DH is going to school to be an aircraft mechanic.

We're at the age where friends and family members are popping out babies left and right. It sucks!!! They all used to be so much fun to hang out with, not any more. Of course, it gives us constant reminders of why we are CF. As people around us are miserable baking loaves or not getting any sleep from their wailing shit factories, we can stay up late playing Halo 4 Spartan Ops partaking of whatever IPA we have in the kegerator, knowing that it will never be us.

Hooray for being Childfree!!!
Heyas.

Well I had four "children" but after the ferret developed cancer and my poor beautiful cat developed a very fast moving chronic renal failure, we're down to two cats and a lot of empty space. It gave me a new perspective of my little furry companions. I'm also now helping out with the place that gave me pre-berevement help and helped me plan for her passing. It's so sad that there's not a lot of thought given to pet parents in this area. sad smiley

In the mean time, I registered because I like to keep track of what I've read and what I haven't. Yes, I am lazy. I'm not a very active poster in any shape or form, but I wanted to let you know that yes I'm a real person and no, I am SO not having kids. (Fought for at least 10 years to get fixed. Stupid old school mentality.)

So yeah. That's me.

Driveby howdy from a sometime lurker who's read a few pages and rants here and there and
is also one of those odd folks on Deviant Art (as an artist) on and off for the past 9 years...

Finally registered. Finally found some odd "you-neek" names I'll share in a bit here...

Cheers,

Good grief, I apologize for being so dense as to not have managed to actually get my intro post into the proper place yesterday. Just quickly, I'm in my late 30s and am surrounded by friends, family and everyone else who now have newborns, infants or annoying 5 year olds they expect everyone to be fascinated by. I live in a foreign country, so the best way for me to keep track of everyone back home is through Facebook. I have to remain civil when everyone posts endless photos of their little brats on a daily basis, but I swear sometimes I'm just ready to lose my grip and go off on a rant about how not EVERYONE gives a shit about their spawn. I don't want to lose my friends (isn't it criminal how all you have to do is say that you aren't interested in kids to have even friends and family turn their backs on you??), so I just put up with it. I do wish FB would allow a newsfeed keyword filter to be able to hide the posts about the snotnosed mongrels, but...no such luck yet.

I have two of the worst kinds of mothers as friends there, too, which makes it even more conflicting: I love my friends as the funny, smart, independent individuals they were before they had a growth sucking the lives and personalities out of them, but I HATE what they've become now that they've birthed a loaf or two. I'll hold back for now, and mention their antics when the time is right.

Since I was a kid and went from having an older sister and brother who went from creating a special bond with me as their little sister by rescuing me from my negligent, depressive, histrionic mother (at the time, they were actually better parents than my own were), to completely kicking me to the curb as soon as they shot out their own, I've learned to hate babies, toddlers and other obnoxious kids who are only there to destroy relationships between people, and turn their handlers into drooling, self-righteous zombies. From what I've seen, kids change people in the WORST POSSIBLE WAY, and I despise being expected to drop everything and coo with glee when I see one of the little shitsacks bounding toward me somewhere in public.

The one lucky thing is that I now live in a country where some parents still believe in giving their kid a good smack if it's screaming or acting up in public. The brainwashed PC part of me used to get all upset about it, until I realized that if I really stopped to look at the situation - it's not bad parenting at all! The kid is almost always being an unacceptable little beast, and the parent takes the situation swiftly in hand - and it's EFFECTIVE, too. The second that kid shuts up, it's bliss, and everyone around is thankful that they actually did something to make it stop.

I'm really enjoying this forum so far, and again, I apologize for posting in the wrong place yesterday. Hope I'll have something fun and useful to contribute soon! smiling smiley
Longtime lurker here, finally decided to sign up and get posting. My partner is already on here so time to join in on the fun!

As someone who came from a big family and was raised a Mormon, you'd think I'd have been trained to want to have a litter of kiddies...right? Nope. Fuck no. By the fury of a thousand burning suns fuck that shit, do not want.

What can I say, I hate kids. They aren't cute little angels like their cuntarded parents make them to be: they are parastic biological hazards that are offensive to every sense simultaneously. They seem to literatly have no control over all orifices of their bodies at any given time, they sure as fuck ain't cute and my eardrums are not spared. And if the spawn weren't bad enough, their handlers are just as bad if not worse. Parents are just getting worse and worse as the newer generations breed and bloat the population with their crotch leavings.

I work with all these other women that are around my age in their early to mid 20's talking about kids or how they are pregnant and I'm 26 I just don't get it. The customers I deal with come in with their herd of screaming shitstains and they want special treatment and shit, but I don't ever give it to them. It's like something out of Kafka or the Twilight Zone, that feeling that I'm one of the only sane people who genuinly cannot stand the idea of parenting or kids.

In the end really I'm just here to talk and swap with some rational thinking people who aren't blinded by ticking biological clocks and drooling snotnosed blessings from their crotches. Expect me to post and let hell break loose while I'm here grinning smiley

What a fantastic entrance!! Welcome! grinning smiley
Hi! *waves at everyone* I've been lurking here for a bit, just out of curiosity. I've finally decided to stop being lazy and just join up. I'm a happily CF woman who sometimes blogs and posts YouTube videos. I also have several tattoos, I'm working on a novel, I'm going to school for foreign languages, and I'm generally just a big nerd!

I'm trying to talk DW into joining! Not only would she love the conversations, but having had the Essure procedure, she'd be a good resource for those who are thinking about it. Wish me luck!

Howdy popcornculturejunkie! Welcome! We have a nice colony of writers here!

Yippeee! This is like so exciting. I teach a course in a woman's studies program and follow women related news. Among serious stuff I see way too much sanctimommy shit and was having serious attacks of sprogitis. I knew about the "nice' childfree sites but I need some hard-core snark and just found this yesterday. Now if I may..... breeders, boob-natzis, moombies, crotchfruit, snotmonkies, spawn, cuntblossoms, uterine parasites, crotchcirtters, fuck-trophies!!! Ahhhh, that felt good.

Fucking Awesome!!!
I LOVE reading this message board and decided to register.

I am 48, totally child-free by choice, and have zero regrets about that. I have never had the desire to be a "Mommy". When I met my (now) husband I was quick to let him know NO KIDS. I am grateful he's cool with that. We have a dog, and we are crazy about her. But according to much of society we are just soooo selfish for adopting a pup from the humane society instead of taxing the environment by producing rug rats when there are already plenty to go around.

Living in the Southern United States and not being all Mommied out (Grandmaed out at my age) is not the norm; but I've never been the norm so I don't care. I can't believe so many people can't see that the demands to have all these kids come from institutions that want to make money from them. Wake up!
eating popcornA friend of mine told me about this website. I may not post much but am so glad to have place where I don't have to hear about anyone's kids. I was the oldest of five in an alcoholic home and felt like I'd already raised four. I don't mind kids as long as they are well-behaved and some else's. btw in all fairness to my mom despite her mental illness, she could take us to a real restaurant with silverware and cloth napkins. We knew she meant it if we misbehaved that we would never come back. I am glad we at least were raised with manners. I have four-legged kids, two dogs and two cats. If pets need to be left out of discussion, I can live with it. LOL

Oh no, don't think that! Pet talk is more than acceptable here! :1welcome

Yes, please visit our subforum, "The Yard", where it's all pet talk! :1welcome
Hi! So after reading posts for a while I decided to register. Some days reading the forums are just what I need for a good laugh to see that I'm not alone in this world. Especially since I'm living in the south among a family who within the last month two cousins (older and younger than myself) have had little crotchdroppings. Already have gotten bingoed too by them when they know I'm happy living with my BF and our dogs. So I hope to enjoy reading more and even posting my own stories.
I ended up here while searching for info on the whole "Dollar Tree Hates Special Needs Children" nonsense people on Facebook have been bitching about for a while. How did I not know about this site sooner? My sister has eight children (and five ex-husbands, while I'm doing the math...) but I'm apparently selfish and "emotionally stunted" because I refuse to entertain the idea of hosting an ever-growing parasite for nearly a year and traumatically ejecting it from within my body before giving it a name and dressing it up like a really weird pet so I can parade it around for others to admire and covet. Ew.

Well, I found this board last night in a round-about-way after googling the phrase "who else is sick of autistic kids?". Because I'm sick of them. I don't like children in general, because they are noisy and sticky, amongst their many other issues. My female friends take issue with my not being thrilled every time they get knocked up and for pointing out that a fetus is basically a parasite. Needless to say, I am childfree by choice. This board is like an oasis in the midst of the baby/pregnant women worshipping cult this country has turned into.
