I guess the writer wants readers to feel sorry for the woman with the headline. But then you read on and find out that the co. gave her a week off leading up to the weekend of her husband leaving.
If the woman wanted any more time, she needed to get the supervisor's approval IN WRITING. She just ASSumed that since the co. let her take an inch, she could have a mile.

LMAO! I saw this on our news this morning too. Her old employer also stated that she was on the computer too much. Typical. They don't do their job at home, and they don't do their jobs at work.
