First Born

Has anyone seen this film? It stars Elisabeth Shue as a dancer who finds out she is repugnant, decides to have the baby, then afterwards, begins to spiral down into severe, largely untreated post-partum depression. I just saw it over the weekend watching it on my computer on a free movie site. TRIPPED OUT MOVIE!!! It's fictional, yet so true. Just goes to show that even in the movies, pregnancy and moooohood aren't all they're made out to be!

Did the movie have a happy ending? Often, the writers will write the realities but will put in the happy-shmappy ending to make the viewers feel good...like Pretty Woman as if a CEO is going to make a wife out of a streetwalker. Please...s

This movie definitely did NOT have a happy ending!
