Shelfari....

I just found out about an interesting sort of "networking" site that revolves around books. I am new to it, but basically your profile is nothing more than a "bookshelf" of books that you've read and want to possibly discuss. I think it's kind of fun...and really there isn't much more networking than just looking at books, who has them listed (or visa versa) and reading reviews or discussing them as you wish.

Oh, beware of Shelfari's offer to use your address book to send out the invites. While it appears that you have the option of selecting who you want to send the invite to, it will send the invite to EVERYONE in your address book. Other than that, it's still pretty fun if you're into books.
