Last night I did a late night Walgreens run to pick up some random items. Before I went to checkout, I perused the candy aisle to see if anything peaked my PMS blurred interest.
While I know Walgreens accepts the food "card" (it's called SNAP here in Arizona), I did not see these little shelf "reminders" of it by any other food items in the store. In the candy aisle, these little stickers were littered below each pricey box of choclates and other treats (I snagged a picture of what I am talking about here).
In Arizona, unless you are using WIC, the only thing you are not allowed to buy with your government food dole is alcohol. As if that did not anger me enough, I am now noticing stores around here marketing to those who abuse the free food system... Similar to the actions of the person who is responsible for the picture floating around the interenet of their grocey recipt after buying top of the line steaks and lobster with their food card.
