RIP Elly May Clampett (Donna Douglas)

Aww. As an animal-loving sprout, I always cheered when she came down the stairs of the Clampett mansion, leading a chimp, or carrying one of her "critters."

I always liked her as a kid

And I wanted her swim suits and that cee ment pond too!

From comments I've seen on various sites - she was a very nice person too.
