Justice Scalia Dead at 79

I know he died a week ago, but I meant to start a thread here about it. I'm sure most if not all of us here aren't thrilled about him and may be happy, as I am, that he is off the SCOTUS and won't be inflicting us with many of his awful opinions.

I can't wait for Obama to put someone onto the SCOTUS who is no worse than center-left and end the conservative lock which has been on the Court for at least the last 10 years, if not 20.

Also a massive breeder. Glad the asshole is dead.

Also glad to say what I think without the "don't speak ill of the dead" police whinging about it as if everything bad a person did vanished upon death.

I was shocked, then relieved to hear of his death. Good riddance, I say.

At the very least, it keeps pro-choice and pro-union verdicts in place.

I was pleasantly surprised. Now we need a center left judge in there, who is prochoice/union/privacy/ and anti corporation.
