What about the disabled, too?

My employer is a quadriplegic, and a great man. If he were in New Orleans, they would take one look at him, and then fly away to save the children, simply because his wheelchair is too cumbersome maybe, but they'll say, "well, we're looking toward the future." As if this brillant man has nothing to contribute to the future!

I'm getting sick just thinking about all this. And the fucking moos having the nerve to try to get a nanny out of this...It makes me want to kill someone!

Here are a few charities helping animals, who are usually not accepted in shelters:

PETA’s Helping Animals: http://www.helpinganimals.com/f-disaster.asp

Best Friends Hurricane Relief Fund (see left side of page for link): http://www.bestfriends.org

ASPCA Disaster Relief Fund: http://www.aspca.org

Celebrity Pet Calendars from ARF (sorry, but they ship to the US only): http://www.arf.net/About_ARF/2006_calendar.html
