Interesting. I'm addicted to reading so I will check this out. Also try a book called I Who Have Never Known Men, by J.Harpman? In the future, women are kept in cages of about 40 per cage. The "I" in the book is the only one who doesn't remember anything but the cage. And then one day, an alarm goes off and they are able to leave. The author was compared to a female KafKa. As good as The Handmaids Tale, one of my favs.
