1437 School Taxes

Simone, this is something I've been bitching about since the day I bought my first home. I couldn't agree more. What's more is I'm sick of these famblees raising 5 and 6 kids in an apartment and paying NO school taxes or any other kind of tax. Sure, the apartment owner pays the property tax but that doesn't make up the cost of putting all those kids through school. Each pahrunt should have to pay a school tax premium for each kid. The tax system in this country needs a serious overhauling.

I agree, the people with the kids in school should pay. I've always voted for our county's bond levy when it meant a pay raise for me,(my salary is low!) but the last time I voted against it after doing the math and realizing that my property taxes would be more than the pay raise.(It still passed) Now that I'm quitting, I'll never vote for it again. Let these yuppies in their McMansions pay for their children's education. They can afford it!
