That's not so far fetched because kids get dropped into bear and monkey enclosures quite regularly, when they aren't climbing over fences while unsupervised or tumbling into them. I think they keep the big cats caged on all four sides though, so unless they poke their arms or legs into the cage they'd probably be safe with the lions.
