I took a break from the usual overhead entertainment on my flight from SFO to JFK this morning and brought out my iPad and noise-reducing earphones and started playing a movie my DH downloaded for me over the weekend. I don't like syrupy chickflicks, so I was watching an old film noire classic, "The Racket" (1951) with two of my favorite actors, Robert Mitchum and Robert Ryan. I always loved Mitchum's tough guy sexiness and Ryan's no-nonsense style, and I was enjoying the film when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I paused the movie, took out my earphones only to find the whining entitletwunt moo across the aisle saying, "My son doesn't like that movie, could you put something else on?"

I answered, "No."

She responded, "But don't you have anything else to watch?"

I answered again, "No."

Twunt goes, "But he doesn't like black and white movies."

I answered (inspired by my two Roberts), "Tough shit."

I have no idea what she said after that, but her arms were flailing into the air and flight attendant winked and mouthed "Excellent!" to me as she walked past.

What the fuck am I supposed to do? Download some bullshit some fucking brat that should not be looking at someone else's iPad is entertained? Fuck. That. Shit.

Entitled is right. Why did moo think you were going to change your movie, ON YOUR OWN I PAD, because little Snotley was peeking over your shoulder? Moo can keep her own spawn entertained.

Why was the bat being rude and watching over your shoulder?

In that situation, I'd be half tempted to put on one of my favorite shows, Nip/Tuck. (Ok the first 4 season, I try to pretend 5 & 6 don't exist.)
