Fire Fighter: Crying baby son drove me to arson

While I don't condone arson, I can understand being driven to it by a crying baby. And people say crying Quietly Fussing ^TM babies are no big deal. Hell, some say it's 'music to the ears'. Uh huh. Right.

Interesting story! The dude was pretty damn busy setting those fires, too. Thirty-nine of them! It's a sad fact that a fair number of arsonists are firefighters. No offense intended to any firefighters or their relations, my apologies in advance.

Still, one would think the guy could have found another outlet for his frustrations. When you put other being's lives at risk, that's crossing the line.:arrowdown

I can certainly understand wanting to escape a squalling shitsack, but like the ABC reporter asked him . . . why not go hang out with his fellow fireman, vent with them a little? There are many things to do when bored or stressed, never once have I thought "Nah, forget a drive alone with film soundtracks, maybe stop at the library, visit the beach . . . I'll go light some fires!"

I think this guy was screwed up to begin with and used the baybee as an excuse.
