I scanned through the article, and yup, every single method of getting the spark back involves either farming out the kids or waiting 'til they're asleep.

The "at-home dating" things aren't known as such around our place. It's known as "having dinner" or "staying in". I'd hate to have to cram in a nice evening at home the way they do. If we want to go on a date, we actually leave the house. If we decide to stay in, we don't call it a date. I know it seems like quibbling over semantics, but the difference in terminology speaks volumes, in my opinion.

I'd hate to have my intimate life ultimately ruled by a kid.
