Johnson and Johnson's mooooooooooooo leave

Johnson and Johnson's mooooooooooooo leave
June 22, 2017
Johnson and Johnson's is patting themselves on the back on twitter promoted tweets for now giving moos and duds alike 17 weeks of paid moo leave.

Where's 17 weeks (multiplied 2,3, 4 times for each child a moo has) of free money for everyone else I ask? Where is the free money for seventeen weeks for taking care of your spouse, dog, or anything else in life? And who pays for this? Customers! So after the initial loafing, you can put kid in a covered crib and sit around a pool all summer so your legs can get a golden tan, so members of your "team" can pick up your slack.

All I know is I got little teamwork from my co workers and boss when my dad got sick and passed, and double goes for my mom dying of cancer. I could ve used 17 weeks of free money to get over the hump of all their illnesses, each bout of cancer or nursing home rehab after a bad fall.

Wont be using these products anymore.

Now people said the govt should adopt this policy too and then actually tweeted ignorance is bliss about where the money would come from!!!! And people should 'understand' if they have kids. What?!?!

Wow, this really grinds my gears! Just when I thought current moo leave was lenient. Seventeen weeks? That's just under a third of a year! Parents really want to have their cake and eat it too, and not share any cake with the rest of the world.

You know what? If either a moo and/or a duh go on that leave and leave their coworkers to pick up their slack (usually us childfree people, of course!), then he/she/they should be passed over for promotions or raises or even demoted because they voluntarily left work. Of course, if that happened--**cue the parental whining and infantile temper tantrums**--that would be so unfair!!

Youre so right about not sharing their cake w/ the rest of the world. They have no problem saying 'if you dont have children you dont get the money' which someone actually tweeted, and totally dont see that it is unfair to give 17 weeks of money (more over time if you have more than one child) while others don't get money for not working. It's one thing if you could even earn these days by number of yrs you work there, then be able to use them for husbands, elderly parents, pets, friends whoever, but it is just babies and it isn't capped, so you can have one kid or 6 and get this money that others dont get. And they really really dont care where the money comes from. Wow, just wow.

Could you imagine paid leave for another life choice? I coulda used paid leave when I sat for the bar exam, and that lifestyle choice BENEFITED my employer. Moos would bleat, why does she get free money???? Only people who study and go to school get this??whaaaaa!

omg these people just worry about themselves, opponents keep asking how it is fair to others, then moos say it would have been nice for them to get it when they had their babies, they totally ignore anyone saying anything about it being unfair to other employees who arent sprogging as much as others.hitting head against a brick wall

Yet these bints low and squeal when they don't get jobs, especially when they make it clear that they're intending to take extended leave to fart loaves.

In socialist leaning countries, where there is government mandated Mooternity leave, plus the added $$$ bonuses for breeding and the glorious buffets of tax exemption/reimbursement/part-funding for sprog related expenses - it's any wonder there is zero incentive to be CF.

It's just lovely rocking up to work, to find bint # 23 is off on Mooternity leave, and Ms Can't Keep Her Legs closed #14 has been given your holiday allotment, as she has to be there 'while they're on school holidays'. This is on top of Mrs Overstretched VeVe #12, 21, 16 and 07 have to all duck out early to pick up for their sprogs (not to mention # 1 - 6 needing to cut their hours for their brats.

Yet, guess who gets the accusing glances and snide remarks when the CF's have to rarely go home early due to a very real migrane or some other illness, no doubt caused by picking up for all the evacuated-wombs that live it up on a very generous, mandated allowance.

And yet we (women in these countries) are having fewer and fewer children on average, because educated women have figured out that it still sucks, even with government perks.

One of my first jobs was with a company that offered free daycare to employees so I know exactly what to expect at Johnson and Johnson.
While a part of me is happy this is at a company level and not the taxpayers I know that I would never work for this company. This attracts entitled breeders who get a free pass for everything and the company will be held together on the backs of those who no longer have kids/are childless or childfree. Lots of the young breeders who are attracted to this company will leave once their family is complete because there is no benefit for them to stay at that point.

The parents at the company I worked at quickly filled up the daycare beyond capacity and had the nerve to bitch bitterly when they were added to a wait list and given vouchers for the same cost of daycare. Even though daycare was virtually free, it just wasn't convenient enough for them because they couldn't walk downstairs and see their kids at lunch or during breaks. I faked an illness one day just to have a day off after 18 mos. when I realized they weren't going to ever let me take any days off. I had something in the ballpark of 5 weeks accrued. Breeders were always borrowing against the future days because they were given free passes: no weekends, no holidays, all the sick days they wanted. And they would make us work mandatory overtime and never once did a parent have to work this unless they were a manager. I had to go to the smoke room to take a legitimate break because no one questioned smoke or breeder breaks only. Very breederific place.

Just one look at that website and twatter feed makes me realize that working there would be the 7th circle of Hell anyway. I get that it's their business to promote baybee stuff, but they are also promoting a lot of other stuff that's geared toward upper-class Moos who have nothing else to do for five years so they can tit feed a brat (thus keeping women checked out of life and the workforce altogether, how convenient), midwifery, "baybee massage promotes healthy brain development!" and all kinds of ridiculousness.

So glad I opted out of that Moo nonsense.

I'm surprised the company is profitable with everyone taking off all the time. You know they are inefficient and the CF workers are picking up the slack. I hate their commercials anyway because at the end one is reminded they are "a fambilee company."
