Overheard at my doctor's office

Yesterday, I was at my doctor's, waiting for my turn. As I sat in the examination and treatment room, I could hear him chat with his other patient. They are both parents (as I concluded) of young children and were discussing bed time habits. His patient told him she let her kid cry, then when she thought it was asleep, went to check and found the kid had vomited in its bed and fell asleep in a puddle of vomit. She had to hake him/her up and wash the kid, the bed and everything. I was there sitting thinking “Thank God it’s not me!”

Thanks for the heart-warming story, Mrs. O! Uggh...I think I'll stick to cleaning hamster cages once a week, rather than having to clean up after kids.

I bet the parets were wishing the kid fell asleep in said vomit face-down. I know I would be if the kid screeched all night and then decided to heave on its bed.

I silently rejoice knowing that will never be my life.

E U good gawd. Scooping the potties for our kitties is way more appealing than mopping up vomit. I could gag at the mere thought of it. HORK!!!!!
