Bratz Dolls Too Sexy?

Gee, do ya *THINK* Einstein! I can't believe it's taken this long for someone to open their eyes! Oh, besides us "selfish" Childfree folk, that is.

Whaaaa?! Sexy dolls?!! Egads!! Who are the horrible people who would allow such things in the hands of little girls?!!! OH! The humanity!

Seriously, remember Barbie and her improbable body? After I found my parent's copy of "The Joy of Sex", my Barbie was always in the shoe box with another doll, that plastic skank! Granted, Bratz are (I'm guessing) supposed to actually be little girls, and Barbie was supposed to be a woman. But just because something exists doesn't mean you have to buy it for your child. And even if you do buy the doll for your child, it doesn't mean you have to dress your child like the doll, unless you're looking to make some extra money on the side, I guess. It kind of makes me think of an old SNL skit where Chevy Chase is a toy salesman/inventor with all sorts of wonderful toys like "Box of Broken Glass", "Baby's First Hand Grenade", "Shards of rusty metal". I'm sure if such things were marketed in a way that said "all the cool kids have this!", many many parents would buy them for their little darlings.

Bratz dolls are just that, dolls. They are wot an individual makes them. If your dolls are slutty, then they are slutty. If you make them prim, then they are prim. I think moos should worry more about RL role modles, than about dolls. Moos need to look at the skanky or violent singers thier kids follow, and the fake skeletal hollywood stars they follow, and lastly, but most importabtly at THEMESELVES, and wot they are teaching thier kids.

Maybe if any of these idiots had any sort of actual skills, they could make more modest clothing for the dolls. I had a huge collection of fantastic clothes that my grandmothers made for my dolls, but I guess, that means time away from the internets.

Those damn Bratz dolls are pretty sad, though. I'm just "old skool" enough that I prefer to see children looking like children, not like mini adults! Why does a little girl need a miniskirt or midriff top? Or wedge-heel shoes, for that matter? Why does a little boy need to have his hair gelled or wear the baggy-assed shorts grown men wear?

And, most importantly, why don't Bratz dolls have visible noses! ; )

Oh puhleez. Thank god I don't have children, but if I did, I'd rather my daughter grow up to be a porn star than go on some psychopathic rampage and shoot up a school. Long story short, sex=good, violence= bad.
