A baby boy in Poland was born drunk.

Doctors decided to check his blood-alcohol level because his mother was drunk when she arrived to give birth.

What they saw frightened them.

A doctor tells the PAP news agency that 12 hours after he was born, the boy had a blood-alcohol level six times the legal limit for driving. That means he was drunk before he was even born. He weighed five pounds, seven ounces at birth.

Doctors say the baby will likely suffer permanent neurological damage from his mother's drinking.

Yep. And breeders insist pahrunting makes you a better person.

I can't believe he made it through the birth at all. That much alcohol in an infants system should have killed him.

I have no idea what public assistance is like in Poland, but you can bet the taxpayers will be picking up the tab for this baby's long term care. Then again, we're the selfish ones...

Good page on fetal alcohol syndrome. The brat's future does not look bright. Mental illnesses, motor coordination problems and cardiovascular diseases are all pretty common in those brats.

This is so incredibly disturbing for me. I can't even fathom...ugh. That is just really, really sad and sickening to me.
