TIME cover story: Are you mom enough?

Time magazine should do stories about the Cult of Motherhood, the relentless push to Breed, the "war on women", and the steady erosion of women's rights.

In fact - I think I will email them these suggestions.

I was thinking the same thing....there should be more research on why over the last decade or so, everything is worship of MOOS, not dads even tho it is 2012, and now everything is about worship of children and 24-7 obsession about it, i.e., every People magazine cover, all talk shows talking about celeb parenting when that was almost NEVER brought up in the days of yore, moos constantly focusing on everything moo and constantly self-congradulating themselves over every decision and just like that one UK article stated that parunts are giving up literally EVERY thing , every single free moment for children. No adult relationships or distractions. I mean moos who work, can't even give a total 8 hours to their emp'r anymore b/c they are too focused on moohood and the electronic umbilical cord.

I want 1000 articles on the obsession of parunthood and how to stop it, for our sake, for the kyds sake, and for the stupid breeders sake.

In a way, I'm glad some nutbar moo went and did this.. now people will see them for the disgusting pigs they are.

Exactly this. Maybe now these sick bitches will be exposed for the disgusting, disturbed twats that they are. We can only hope that there will be enough backlash that these cunts will be shamed into realization that they are sick and twisted, and that they will finally wake up and realize that in the long run they are doing their children more harm than good.

...just like the backlash against Octomoo will make people wake up and eschew IVF? I remember people on here thought that would happen too.

...forget the breast, what about the boy?

Although, considering psychiatrists get $100 per hour, I don't see why he would complaining?!?
More money in his pocket from the grown titfeeders, 'eh?

As i insinuated in my previous post, this is a form of child exploitation. It's exactly like what Shauna Ahearn does with her daughter Lucy, and exactly like what many people do to their children hundreds of times a day on Facebook. Only this is 100,000 times more egregious because there is a lot more thought and pre-meditation involved when deciding on what type of image to place on the cover of TIME magazine. There are more checks and balances to clear when it comes to TIME than with blogspot or social media, and a greater responsibility to the public regarding the kind of tacit and explicit messages being endorsed when it comes to exploiting members of society who are unable to defend themselves or are not aware that they are being taken advantage of in that way.

Shame on the model in that photo, and shame on TIME for enabling her in the public sexual abuse of her own son.

Also - no way is that kid 3. He does not look any younger than 5 or 6.

I got it in today's mail. At least Time had the decency to put some kind of advertising flap on the cover so I didn't have to look at it.

Check out this comment from a pedo-moo:

"Pumping is a very valid option, but not the only one. Why should I have to resort to pumping just because you are uncomfortable with children touching breasts. Have you ever pumped? Not as natural as a child's mouth, certainly not as comfortable."

Emphasis mine.

It was meant to look as sexual/perverted as possible. If it was a typical fat, ponytailed moo with the kid curled up in her frocked lap, it'd be gross, but not as titillating. More John Waters than Hustler.

I wonder how many chyld predators and titfeeding fetishists are whacking it to this photo. It does remind me of some type of twist on the kind of pervy exploitation in chyld beauty pageants, just using breastfeeding as an excuse that is isn't. Kind of genius, really when the goal is to get attention.

Someday soon it will be ok to admit this is sexual, that moos often get off on it. In hip edgy moo circles, it already has been accepted that titfeeding can and does cause sexual arousal and it is ok to rub one out when that happens. That of course has nothing to do with the loaf/toadler/kid though, it's just biological. smile rolling left righteyes2

Many women in the comments low about what a "special" time they have when practicing extended titfeeding. Now, I may be incorrect, or perhaps misinformed by television, but when some male perv diddles a kid, don't they also refer to it as being a "special time?" There is a serious double-standard. Most of these women are practicing it with their sons - not daughters. I do not know if most male child molesters prefer female children. Would anyone care to enlighten me?

These titfeeder moos are total pedophilers. A man would never be allowed to get away with that because he isn't the carrier of sacred womb with matching udders that hold sway over the brats to control and manipulate. Once again its all about moo.

My six month sub just ran out and now I know they're publishing what amounts to praise for pedo-moos, I have no plans to resubscribe. These broodsows are raising a generations of equally-fucked up brats. Glad I am getting old and won't have to put up with this shit too long.

I hope that when people see this magazine cover, they get a similar gut-rolling reaction as what I had. This is sexual exploitation of children as far as I can see. Reading the comments section, you get a true idea as to who thinks this is a good idea, most people are commenting about how "lucky" the kyd is, and how "hot" the moo is.
My only wish is, that these pedo-mooos are finally exposed for being the incestuous garbage that they really are.

If a person wants to have an orgasm, that's awesome, I enjoy them on a regular basis. If a person's orgasm requires a chyld's participation, there is something seriously wrong with them.

... figured out what's bugging me about that photo (besides ALL of it): Both the supposed moo and her "little man" are looking at the camera. They're porn-eyeing it. If this were "real" (i.e., disgusting but NOT meant to titillate), they'd only have eyes for one another-- i.e., "Feed me, moo-ma!" "Have some chow, youngster!" That kid looks-- and rightly so-- like he knows he's been caught in some kind of sleazy act, and Moo is practically leering "Any of you big boys out there want some of this...?"

The moo is real. Her name is Jamie something and she is really a specimen. She is a SAHM, Chrystian homeskreweler and "travel-schooler". She is obsessed with extended titfeeding and titfed her adopted kyd from Ethiopia at the same time as her other kyd. He wasn't a baby. Two boobs two boys, no girls of course. Jamie comes across as a delusional spoiled faux-naturalle cheerleader type. She thinks she's too hot to be a moo, thus her website-

I just looked at pedo moo's web site and it only took five seconds before I felt like I would lose my dinner. I'm also wondering why there's only one picture of the adopted kid.

And now she's making the rounds on some tv shows. Anyone else think she's angling for her own reality tv show?

I was hoping that it would be the start a backlash, SlumSlut. But I know hoping and reality are two different things, sadly. Society is just waking up to the reality that women can be sexual predators....we still have a long way to go.

Sickening.

Here's a Daily Mail piece in which she says she herself fondly recalls being breastfed to age 6.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2142937/Time-magazine-breastfeeding-cover-Jamie-Lynne-Grumet-plans-stop.html

This literally turns my stomach, and I have nothing against breastfeeding of infants, in a discreet manner and for a reasonably short period of time.

i think this moo worship crap originated from the right wing; this is a great way to get women out of the office and back into the kitchen, complete with bratling attached at the teat. as long as women are lowing and crying for materrnity parking spaces we won't be working for equal rights.

i was out with a group of women for a friend's birthday last night - out of a group of 6 of us (4 of whom are mothers) ALL of us thought this time cover was very creepy and inappropriate.
Re: TIME cover story: Are you mom enough?

Wherever it originated, everyone is on board now. That's the scary part- something gets started by a fringe group and every sheep thinks it's cool.

In my area's version of Stepford the blonde right wing SAHMoos mind their own business, they are not lactivists. But I see from the Time cover that there are Chrystian Stepford types who do speak out and try to influence others about moohood.

This issue just brings them all together - right, left, religious, atheist, hipsters and rednecks and geeks- anyone can be an entitled moo. moo with baybeem

Yes, but I hate how they think it's still okay to titfeed A FUCKING THREE YEAR OLD.

Yeah, what the hell is that about? No, a 3 year old does not need breastmilk. At that age, they should be getting their nutrients from food. It's just another sick disgusting way for these tit nazis to make excuses for their pedophelia.

Yeah, she can't orgasm from a pump.

This assaulted my eyes when I went to pull up CNN.com at work yesterday. Couldn't get it off my screen fast enough. And, now that you mention it, the whole idea of having a camera crew and make up artists around adds a whole new dimension of two faces puking.

I mean, isn't that kid old enough to be eating Spaghetti-O's or something?

I will post research when I'm not on my iPod and can look it up easily. A SUPER amazing thing about breast milk is that it will be different for each child, even if you're nursing a newborn and a 2-year-old at the same time. They've done extensive testing and found that, even though they can't explain how or why, a mom's milk with be nutritionally perfect for each child, no matter what age they are or if they nurse at the same time side-by-side or at seperate times. In addition, twins will also receive different breastmilk, specifically tailored to their own needs. It's an amazing creation, the human body!
