They probably were not her children... They may have just got on together, but if she didnt get off with them, then they probably were alone to begin with, hence the lack of "parenting"

I live in Portland, Maine, too! And you ain't kiddin', it's breederific up heah. Hubby and I went to Ricetta's today for pizza buffet. We had to cut our lunch short because two breeders with 4 kidz under the age of 6 sat right next to us. The kidz screaming and the mom making it worse by conversing with them in a VERY LOUD VOICE encouraging the little bastards to TALK REALLY LOUD and let out a scream every minute for no apparent reason. It's exceedingly fertile breeding ground in Maine. I think it's because the winters are very long and there's not much else to do.
