Republicans for Choice

One of the best and kindest presidents the Usa had was Gerald Ford. He was the last openly pro-choice Republicans. His wife did much to bring addictions into the public eye. The old school Gop party was for small government and low taxes. I'm hoping that they can lose the Religous Right after this. There are pro-choice Gops, we just don't hear from them very often.

These bible thumping fundies are giving sensible Republicans a bad name. There are plenty of Republicans who to quote the Log Cabin Republicans (gays and lesbians who are Republicans), are for low taxes, limited government, strong defense, free markets, and PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY but at the same time don't subscribe to the fundies view that you have to live your life according to their interpretation of a book of questionable origin.

Gerald Ford was the first President I was old enough to vote for.

There's nobody like him running now, that's for sure.

I fear the results of this next presidential election. I'll be out voting Republican but I don't really care for ANY of the choices.
