You're not going to be seeing many kids in Vanuatu any time soon. Even though that article makes it sound like Europe, in truth, there's not much there. It's the sort of place to take a book and do nothing, because there's nothing TO do. That being the case, the breeders would actually have to amuse the children, and that would never fly ... better take them to Orlando instead.

From New Zealand, Vanuatu is our vacation when you can't afford a real vacation, vacation...

Mercurior's right, Europe really does have a lot of "adult only" and "under 14s not welcome" holiday hotels, villas, etc.

I make it a point NEVER to buy a holiday from a tour operator or holiday company which offers "free child places" either. Even if I'm looking at their "adult only" or "top class" holiday options. Because 'free child places' are NOT FREE -- the expense is subsidised by all the people (parents, seniors, and child-free alike), who do not take their brats along with them on holiday. Why the hell should my holiday subsidise theirs??

Oh and if I ever have the misfortune to be joined in the pool by a lovely set of screamers, I make a big show of swimming to the ladder and getting out. No way am I swimming in kiddie piss.
