Some Christian family had a kid born with no nose and the kid died at 2 years. There were these people on the comments admitting that they enjoy trolling to upset and mess with people's heads, but had to put that all aside to shred a few tears over the sprog and give a thumbs up to the grieving parents and the creepy thing was these troll were getting all thumbs up. I guess all is forgiven in life if you can cry over a baybee that died, but then go back to upsetting as many people as they can. Just a creepy way to think

Sounds like Christian logic. You can do any horrible thing you want, but as long as you pretend to be sorry for it, then it's all okay. One moment of humanity doesn't excuse a thousand moments of assholery.

Not to worry, there have been some nasty comments that were apparently removed. (And of course since this is yahoo it appears someone brought Obama into it.)

But I did find something interesting in the comments about the so-called Christian Dud:

On the topic of Christianity, repentance doesn't work like that. Repentance isn't just being sorry for what you've done, it's also trying not to do it again. It's easier to think of it like vegetarianism. If a vegetarian accidentally eats meat {say they eat gummy vitamins that contain gelatin, or French onion soup with beef broth, or even if their food is cross contaminated} that is not a wrong on their part. They can still call themselves a vegetarian, because it was an accident*. What a person can't do is to say "I'm a vegetarian" and knowingly eat hamburgers and ribs and the like continually.

*This is not to say all sin is accidental. People are definitely responsible for their behavior. This is just to say that actual repentance and 'fake' repentance are differentiated by the actions of the person.

On the topic of crying over babies, I call BS. Trolls are some of the most infuriating people you commonly come across, crying over a baby doesn't change that. Also, I'm sure even Ted Bundy had things that made him cry, that doesn't make him a good person. Your virtue or viciousness is not measured by how much you like children.
