There is a problem with Bratfree

I I need to alert the moderators that there may be a problem with bratfree.com. my antivirus bitdefender is refusing to allow me access to Bratfree saying that the website is under attack. My computer repair people said something about a password harvester. I'm talking to you now because I am using one of my old phones that I used to play games on that has no important stuff on it. You need to have a look see and find out what the hell is going on.

Still I think that the Moderators need to look into this situation. I am only able to hop on using an old phone that doesn't have anything in it and is used simply for playing games.

The website uses http, not https. Many modern browsers will reject that, or at least require you to confirm that you want to access a site that doesn't have end-to-end encryption, especially when submitting a password.

It's a limitation of the current version of the software. At one point we did start a migration but I think that is stalled.

Yeah, my browser allows me to access other unsecure websites but not Bratfree .

The moderators need to look into this because some breader may have attacked the website. This problem only happens with Bratfree and not other non https websites. My PC repair shop said it looks like a password hacking program.

It isn't the browser blocking the website but BitDefender that ONLY blocks malware and viruses.

I don't want to abandon Bratfree but it is painful to read on my old phone. Www.http://internationalskeptics.com works perfectly well.

Thank you. While I've BitDefender, not everyone is so protected. Even Linux machines are vulnerable.

This is virtually the only site I'm on that doesn't use https instead of http. Bratfree should update to https—yesterday.

I wonder if not using https had anything to do with this site being down and us losing nearly a year's posts a while back.

It's possible but I've no issues with other unsecure websites. Although Bratfree needs to get with the times.

Nod. I'm getting a tablet as a spare PC for when the desktop is in the shop. That will help with my vision issues.
