This has to be one of the most cringe worthy reasons I've heard of to replicated, to create a tax payer. What if the replicant is one out of 33 with a birth defect that puts them on lifelong disability and insures they suffer until death? Or part of the 20% who are intellectually unable to work in a job? And what about the brats who grow up to be cannon fodder?

But self-replicating is so cheap! Tell it to the experts who say it takes over $250K to raise one child.
