Parents fought doctors in the courts to keep this little kid alive, even trying to force the hospital to send the baby to Italy for "experimental treatment" The disease was mitochondrial and she was dying from the inside from this rare disease.
The parent extended her suffering with their inability to let go and then demanded that the baby be taken home to die where they would feed her God, knows what. The judge had the hospital send her to hospice where life support was turned off and the baby passed in peace.
There is something wrong with parents today. There seems to be a disconnect from reality where if they want it to be true then the entire universe needs to get on board and do as they say.
Also I heard Catholic groups were behind it
