The sad thing is how many women will be fighting for this man. I hate those shows anyway. It is degrading to watch women debase themselves to snag some guy who they do not even know and will want to be away from once the publicity wears off. All this guy is seeking is a woman who will do the free c*nt work of childcare. Any woman that stupid to fight for that gets what is coming to her...JMNSHO

I treid watching The Bachelor once a few years ago. The only thrill I got from it was watching all these pretty gold-digger women get rejectedtongue sticking out smiley by one man. However, that small thrill was greatly outweighed by the show going to a loooooooong commercial break every 3 minutes! SO I never watched the show again LOL!

So, the institution of marriage is sooooo sacred, holy and important to the moral fiber of this country that two people of the same gender who love each other can't marry, BUT it's totally acceptable to make television series out of some asshat living in a mansion for a couple weeks with a herd of opposite sex people to pick someone to enter into this holy, sacred bond with? This society sucks balls in so many horrifying ways.

"It truly is the one commonality that every designation of humans you can think of has, there's at least one asshole."

I totally agree, Feh. Isn't that sick how a man...or woman...can have 5 spouses and there is no issue for those people to get on the job health insurance? A man or woman can list a new spouse s/he has married right after the ink dried off from the divorce papers. People can even list their stepkids on work medical policies. Yet, a gay couple has to jump through so many hoops to prove they are "together". I believe Disney in Florida had a stip of the couple being together for a year before any domestic partnership bennies kicked in and there had to be proof of two people on a leasing agreement or on some other bills. With some companies, an employee cannot even designate insurance policies to go to someone else other than the wife or husband without the spouse signing off. So...the employee pays extra for life insurance policies but cannot choose another person if s/he feels the husband or wife is not deserving...unless the person s/he is married to says it is OK. Never mind that that particular person does not even work there or pay the premiums! Another form of socialism...

I caught an ad for this season's "single dad" spin, and I wanted to punch my fist through the television screen. How completely sickening. I believe I even heard one of those brainless bitches say: "I think dads are sexy!" Or something along those lines. Oh, yeah, it's sexy. Sexy when you obviously have some leftover childhood issues about your own dad to say something like that. Not so sexy when the "hotty" dad wants you to deal with his brat in real life situations and there's no mansion or champagne or TV cameras around. WTF is wrong with these women? WTF is wrong with people in general that they want to watch this absolute shit?

I have overheard numerous breeder wannabees and moocows get all hot around the collar over "single dads". For the life of me, I do not see the attraction. I suppose that they are imagining what a "wonderful" father he will be, once they have "one of their own", which will be within a year after marriage. I dislike all of those shows where they place unrealistic people in unrealistic situations and then turn around and call it "Reality TV."

I never thought single dads were "sexy". Often, I want to run the other way because many divorced fathers feel entitled to a woman who is going to pick up after them and their kids while having to deal with disrespect from the children. You know most men with kids from another marriage will tell the new woman how she cannot discipline the sprogs but that she has to still deal with them. And, then the ex-wives! Many of these ex-wives have a right to be bitter if the men up and left them because they were bored with full-time fatherhood and monogamy. As if I would want to walk into something like that...

Barf. Monday I am actually killing my cable. The stupid stuff (Jon and Kate, etc.) is simply not worth the occasional good stuff. Oh, well. Bye bye "First 48".

I have never watched this program, nor will I ever watch it.
All you will end up with is some dumb cow (who will sprogg immediately) and commence a 'piss on their own turf' war with the ex moo cow and the unfortunate sprogg from this dissolved relationship. It will be a power struggle.

CERTIFIED HOSEHEAD!!!

people (especially women) do not give ONE DAMN about what they inflict on children and I defy anyone to prove me wrong

Dysfunctional relationships almost always have a child. The more dysfunctional, the more children.

The selfish wants of adults outweigh the needs of the child.

Some mistakes cannot be fixed, but some mistakes can be 'fixed'.

People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one. Leo J. Burke

Adoption agencies have strict criteria (usually). Breeders, whose combined IQ's would barely hit triple digits, have none.
Yet another reason I hardly ever watch TV...even there it's All About the Chyldren.
