"ELGIN, Ill., Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Police said an Elgin, Ill., woman may have used nude pictures of her daughter's 13-year-old ex-boyfriend to blackmail him into renewing the relationship.

Investigators said they began looking into the matter Aug. 21, after a couple from Sleepy Hollow, Ill., reported that their 13-year-old son had received hundreds of threatening text messages and e-mails after he and his 13-year-old girlfriend broke up, the (Arlington Heights, Ill.) Daily Herald reported Tuesday.

The couple told police the girl's mother had threatened to post nude pictures the boy had shared with her daughter on the Internet if he refused to take his ex-girlfriend back.

"It's a sad and surprising situation," Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Jim Montalbano said. "We expect charges will be filed, hopefully by next week."

Montalbano said forensics officers from other departments have been helping to sift through dozens of cell phones, computers and CDs seized from the girl's home and school.

"We've been able to freeze (phone and e-mail) accounts so nothing gets destroyed," Montalbano said. "It's going through forensics right now."

My first thought is HOW and WHEN did moomie come across these nude pics of this 13 y/o boy in the first place? My second question would be WHY would she want her daughter to continue with a relationship where at the age of 13 he is sending her nude pictures? Then, I'd want to know if HE had any nudies of my daughter. This is just entirely ridiculous and it seems to be a trend where moomares take WAY too much of an interest in their kyds' love life anyway.

Because a 13 year old boy who feels confident enough to take/send nude pics, probably is confident enough to talk a 13 year old girl into unprotected sex, then girl's mommy gets to be a Grandmooo!! And since she's already a moo, her only other life goal is to be a Grandmoo.

I just wonder why the woman who obtained the naked pics of the 13 year old boy isn't getting charged with possession of child porn?

So much use of the word 'naked' reminds me of one of Lewis Grizzards' jokes... (he was a southern comedian) Any way he said: "If your naked it means you ain't got clothes on, If your nekkid it means you ain't got clothes on and you up to something."
