Social Security Question

My Mom used to work for this woman whose Mom was from another country
(I want to say Brazil)who stayed at home and never worked a day in her life and I am not even sure if she was even a legal citizen.
Well,after she got to be retirement age,she did indeed get a social security check after never having ever paid into our system.
Stinks,doesn't it?

Here (Canada), you automatically get a monthly pension check as soon as you hit 65.

That's bullshit. If you didn't pay in, you should get nothing.

Oh but the breeders are the first to jump on the bandwagon and bitch how we Childfree aren't paying into the system by having kids. You certainly don't hearing them bitching about getting that check after not ever paying a dime, though, do you?
