You can STILL get into Transformers today; there's the Transformers Animated cartoon that kicks all butts as well as live-action MOVIE!!!
I do love the live action movie - it was released to DVD on my birthday! And I cannot wait for the second film, Revenge of the Fallen, but there's something about the original cartoon that can never be replaced - like the awesome bonding it gave me and my older brother. Needless to say we have a great friendship that might never have happened if it weren't for our mutual love of cartoons
Also, G1 Transformers cartoons had such GREAT characters that are actually lovable to fans of all ages and gender.
I bet everyone here knows by now that I'm a rabid Transformers fan.
(Watching cartoons as an adult is also a great childfree rebellion, BTW.)
