Some quotes from the article with my comments:

I don't consider this to be "healthy." It would be better if the numbers decreased.

For a variety of reasons, it’s become more acceptable for women to have babies without a husband, said Duke University’s S. Philip Morgan, a leading fertility researcher."

I wasn't imagining things when it seemed like there were more welfare skanks with EBT cards and WIC vouchers at the stores. It's too bad we have to bail them out; the government makes it more "acceptable" to breed unmarried with all the handouts available.

"The new numbers suggest the second year of a baby boomlet, with U.S. fertility rates higher in every racial group, the highest among Hispanic women."

I suspect a high percentage of anchor babies here.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that most of the 40% bastardy rate is in the African-American and Latino communities. The rate of illigitimate kids in black families has been estimated as high as eighty to ninety percent. (can anyone say "lifetime welfare recipients"?)

Of course you'll never see or hear THAT in the mainstream news.

I tend to be kind of liberal on many issues, but this is simply a DISGRACE! This has all come about since shaming unwed preggos went out of style. I begin to suspect that this obscene pressure to breed is some sort of bizarre Ponzi scheme.

I think the 80-90% black illegitimacy depends on where they are. I think the figure is that high in the Washington D.C. area: unsure about others.

Three words: Minority welfare recepients.

The voters keep the right people in power to ensure they get paid for doing nothing. (at least nothing good) And as they get $$$ for each new brat, they breed their way to higher payments. In turn the enablers keep the gravy train coming to the ever-growing recepients in countless ways.

It's a horrible form of symbiotic relationship...at least for them. For the rest of us it's parasitic, but the old way of changing things (legally) doesn't work. Democracy simply can't function when the majority are willfully indolent.

could we trust any figure.

We are almost at the point that we do not know whom to believe.

I singularly remember a little Texas pastor stating that it is inevitable for socialism, or at least a limited form of it. to take hold n this country. He said the population is too great to continue with the form of gov we had.

also, the form of government we had was dependent on the common decency and 'pilgrim' ethic to work as well.

Yep, my thoughts exactly and ONLY because I SEE it here in the area we live in, as well as other places, too. I'm not judging without having seen proof in the form of hard stats and with my own eyes. And I love the attitudes of them towards people "not of their kind" - shitty, rude, nasty.

I need to get a bumper sticker that reads, "On welfare? Thank a taxpayer!"

We need to keep the welfare scum from voting. If you're on welfare, you can't vote.

From Reuters today: 72% black illegitimate and 51% Hispanic illegitimate.

Oh yeah and Obummer is going to pay for my steak dinners and tropical vacations too. I wish these fuckin welfare whores would get a clue, the new boss, same as the old boss, yeah they'll keep getting their welfare gravy train, at least until the government is so overspent it becomes absolutely unsalvageable. I think China and Vladimir Pooty Poot may have the answer to our woes by then. And good christ almighty, not that I'd like to live under China and Pooty, but won't it be a fuckin hoot to watch these goddamned welfare whores have to live under that kind of iron fist. LMAO. I just found out that I'm getting an 8% pay reduction at my gubmint job and my health benefits are going to shit. Add to that a few more details that I don't feel like going into here, but it turns out that the people that make the least (me) will be getting hit the hardest with these gubmint cuts. I doubt the welfare whores are will be getting an 8% reduction on their handouts. Fuck them all, I hope they die. angry flipping off

You should have seen the HUGE assed pic of a brat they had to accompany this article in the paper version of the Chicago Sun-Times. Like everyone should coo over the cuyte baybee even tho the article is talking about 40% of births are bastards.


I'm not super holy or anything, but that is one fucked up statistic.

The uptick in out of wedlock births are directly attributable to two things: 1. The welfare programs instituted in the 60s, and the ease of which one may get on these programs just because they have a brat or 10. 2. The idiotic pro lie movement which has infected every aspect of feminism, feminism being about MOO now, instead of the old fashioned feminism which was about women not having to be defined by their reproductive organs.
