Kittens nursing is so much cuter. winking smiley

Humans nursing, well, some breeders just make it so disgusting.

Mother cats? Nah!

We had a nursing momma kitty, Allegra (we kept all three of the kittens). Two of them weaned normally, but the third, Squeaker, kept trying to nurse. By this time, Allegra wasn't making any more milk...we'd even gotten her fixed after the other two stopped nursing. It was a rather comical sight, as by this time Squeaker had grown larger than his mother.

For a while, she let him *nurse*. But then one day, when he was going for the tit, Allegra gave him a big swat with her paw, as if to say, *c'mon now...ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I've been fixed, my kitten-nursing days are over. You're too old for this shit!*

Squeaker got the message, and we never saw him try to nurse again.

My roommate had a kitten who was weaned too early. When my boyfriend, or male roommate, at the time would sit around with his shirt off this cat would climb up on their laps, start kneading and trying to nurse. When they'd try to give the cat the brush off, he'd start grooming their chest hair. Hilariously disturbing is how I'd describe it.

Breast feeding is their sex-lives.

Also, cats can't get bottles or go buy formula - so it's not like they have a choice!

My baby cat was just over 2 months when I adopted her, and she thought her big "sister" (who is only 4 months older) was her mother at first. She wouldn't leave her alone! We asked the vet what to do, and she said it would pass. It did. I felt bad for my older cat, but the tiny one couldn't help it.
