#1618: Childless husband mad at wife

It is a sad commentary on our world-wide, pro-natalist society that something like this even makes the news.

I'd think that in China, they'd be HAPPY that someone didn't want to breed. But I guess the news media has to make a worldwide example of a woman who does not want to breed...at least for now. Maybe they want to show these high-falutin' independent women what happens when they go against what their MAY-UN wants.

As for this guy, the wife should let him leave and find a broodmare. She'd be beter off without his sorry ass, anyway.

I thought the same thing when I read this thing about China. The Chinese government does not want people having all of those babies. Socialist/communist countries are not big on breeding -- with the exception of Romania -- because the people are taken care of by the State even though quality of life is not always that great. Catmommy is right...the news media just loves to make a woman miserable for refusing to breed or cater to a man's demands.
