Trig. Warning: Homophobia on Pet Loss Chat

I *know* it's out there, but bigots aren't in my circle of family and friends. Some background:
It's a pet loss support chat room, an awesome place, very safe, and it's been a life saver.
You will never, ever hear the "At least it wasn't a chhyyllllddd" bullshit.They'd get their head on a platter, and an instant ban.

The person in question: I should have known better.
He is a Fundamentalist Christian: **"I just laugh when people tell us we are descended from apes.", scripture quotes as it pertains to being kind to animals in the Bible, et al.
**A couple of other people chimed in their agreement too but I digress

Him: I don't like his brother

Me: He just called Eddie Edward Scissor hands b/c his clawed up Frasier rug

Me:The actor who played him was picked b/c of his resemblance to Kelsey Gramer

Me:And now he looks exactly like him!

Weee! you can see what a happy dimwit I am in the face of grim disapproval. Stupidly I had no idea he was possibly getting annoyed.

Because of what he is I won't allow him on my TV screen

He left right after that. I was like omg.

Everyone there is pretty awesome though and the majority of the Christians there are manifestly NOT like that. The board/chat room owner is a benevolent dictator whom we can call or email if people are trolls or behaving badly.
