Whats your perfect day?

I like to sit in my back yard with my dogs, watching the hummingbirds, smoking a fat cigar, listening to the Frank Sinatra station on sirius, drinking a rum and diet coke, playing on my laptop.

Aside from something REALLY fun, exciting and different...a typical perfect day for me would be like today. I was alone from 8 to 10:30 am, just drinking my coffee and screwing around on here. Then, I met my boyfriend for coffee at an outside cafe to discuss the business my friends and I have upstarted (more on that later on "The Patio").

Then, before you knew it, it was time for a 3 martini lunch with my business partners/friends (Hell, it IS friday, right?). To top this beautiful fall day off, I just got a call inviting us to a "happy hour cocktail party" at another friend's house/deck. She and her husband are both CF attorneys and have similar friends. She is also originally from New Orleans (until 5 years ago, she's 44 now) and always makes really authentic cajun/creole dishes for her get-togethers. The conversation will be intelligent and probably revolve around the current financial crisis and it's possible implications to politics in general, with a little travel-talk about my upcoming trip to Egypt thrown in for good measure. No poop-talk at this party!

Today just happened to work out really well. The only thing to make it better would be an Illini game on tonight. Guess I have to wait till tomorrow for that!

Yes. Dealing with other people is painful. Especially in 3D. I hurry to get into the house so that I am not seen and I keep my head down. I do not allow pictures to be taken of me.
