Ok, I tried reading the books to see what the hype was about. It's trash! The female lead is a Mary Sue. Her relationship with the male lead is based on nothing but a "magical connection" Just about every male lead in the book wants her. And if they can't get her, they'll settle for her offspring.

BTW, did I mention that the woman who wrote this is a MOO?

Isn't the writer also a Mormon in addition to being a Moo? I'm not hating on her religion, it's just that the Church of Latter Day Saints and undead bloodsuckers usually do not go hand in hand.
