Today I found myself wondering what the fuck the point is in having kids. It's so much work, effort and headache. Sometimes I want to go back in time and get my life back.
proof we're dodging bullets.
My childfree BFF was discussing how owning a dog is similar to having children. I asked her if she knew what the real difference was, when she said no I told her, you can put your dog to sleep
LOL! There are worse things in this world than "swear words" coming from a bedraggled parent. How about sending beach postcards with little notes on them laughing about those kids being stuck at home on Spring Break. Same kids he took off and abandoned years ago and hasn't paid a dime of child support, yet! Oh, that's right, that is the money that he has been using to travel all over the country with, go chase tail and gamble at casinos with and sun like a lizard at a beach on their Spring Break... Great guy that one, so smiley and sleazy, too. We miss him... Stop it with the "swear" words!
well at least she can still LOL about it.
[Children are not a punishment, even if the circumstances in which you had them isn't ideal. I had DS in college, and I missed out on a lot--parties, some opportunities, leisure time. But what I gained more than makes up for it, and I don't regret it even for a second.

Well, my family's health insurance is now officially unaffordable with our budget. Looks like we're back to state assistance for the kids' health care. And me? Back to no insurance. Fuck. I worked so hard for so long to finally get off assistance. And now, here we are. Back there again. *cry* Why do I even bother? They raise the rates four and five times faster than my income can keep up with. Fuck it, hand me the medicaid card and the fucking food stamps. *frustrated, crying* I thought I was doing so good. *cry*
