"The grandmother of an Arizona girl missing for more than a week has pleaded for more attention from police investigators and the national media, saying that the case of her granddaughter's disappearance hasn't been made a priority because she's black.
Jahessye Shockley was last seen October 11 by her three older siblings at their Glendale apartment in suburban Phoenix while their mother was out running an errand.
Glendale police believe Jahessye left the home through the front door but don't know what happened next.

Several comments from local readers and other articles said the inpig moo of the missing girl was charged with abuse of her other three kids back in 06, which is why CPS got involved. Other unverified reports say the boyfriend of moo is a registered sex offender. This is probably another case of boyfriend kills kid, but I guess we'll see. This case is similar to the missing 11 month old in Missouri in that they both seem to have shitty moos, at the very least. At the heart of MOST missing kids cases lives an irresponsible moo-cunt, at best.

"Hunter, who is eight months pregnant, has said the older children were supposed to be watching Jahessye while she was out for about an hour on Tuesday, but when she returned around 5:00 pm, her youngest daughter was gone. Police initially considered the possibility that she wandered off on her own, but concern grew as time passed and she did not turn up.
An Amber Alert was issued last Wednesday after someone reported a girl matching Jahessye's description being placed in a car by a 25-30-year-old black female, but the alert was canceled on Friday. An extensive search of the area surrounding the family's apartment complex was also completed last week.
Police say they are still actively searching for Jahessye, but all of the leads they have followed so far have been fruitless. According to KPNX, one tip authorities pursued over the weekend involved a woman dressed like a man seen holding a girl who looked like Jahessye on a bus.
Court documents obtained by CNN affiliate KNXV show that in October 2005 Hunter and husband George Shockley were accused of beating and whipping her children. In early 2006, Hunter pleaded no contest to four counts of causing injury to a child and admitted to whipping her then-7-year-old daughter with an extension cord.
George Shockley, a registered sex offender, is currently incarcerated in California."
Here's some verification on some of the particulars, although I don't understand if this George Shockley who is currently incarcerated is the missing girl's father OR if he was locked up at the time of her disappearance or arrested in connection with it afterwards.
