I fail to see why that's a bad thing. If someone has cancer, there's a good chance their offspring could develop cancer too. Leave it up to a breederific world to decide to make fake sperm. Of ALLLLLLLL the problems we have and all the things we could devote research to, THIS is what money is being spent on.

From a scientific standpoint, yes, it's fascinating how sperm could be made from skin cells, and applying this to other kinds of cells would have major health benefits. But frankly, I think that not only should IVF be banned worldwide, but no more fuckin' infertility drugs or research until the population goes down by a billion or two. Let's work on making life a little better for the people already here before throwing more sorry bastards onto the overpopulation funeral pyre.

Whose money is wasted on this research anyway? They need to stop wasting money on foolish research.How exactly is turning skin cells into sperm is going to benefit the human race?

Why wouldn't somebody who wants to breed just freeze sperm before the cancer treatment?

'World's desperate semen shortage?" Are they kidding me? There's a ton of men willing to sleep with just about anything that moves, so how can there be a shortage?

Unless men worldwide are running low on their 'white gold' then they aren't looking hard enough.
