I thought the whole point of a "snow day" was to close schools and businesses so that people would not have to risk going outside and driving on dangerous, icy roads.
So if there's enough snow and ice on the ground to prevent people from going to school or work, WHY the HELL would you risk your life -- and your precious sprog's life -- to go see a freaking movie?
I think more communities should have some sort of mandatory curfew: close the roads to anyone but emergency vehicles!
