I've noticed this too. It's like they have to add that at the end to 1. validate the statement to themselves 2. prove they have a placenta for a brain and 3. to make you think their life is all roses and candy and you're missing out.
My reply to this rubbish is usually, "Yeah, so I've heard."
MAN it must suck to be them.
