You know, I've been thinking about the bingos lately, and I don't really think anyone has kids because "it's the right thing to do", "to carry on the family name", "because I want someone who will take care of me in my old age", etc, etc. People have kids because it's a human drive built into most humans to reproduce. Humans try to rationalize their actions after the fact (or before) but really it all comes down to hormones making the decisions.
