which is an amazing and rational essay on not wanting children. It's a bit long, but I highly recommend all you all read it, print it out and give it to everyone you know. Okay, maybe not all that, but you should definitely read it.

One of the scariest arguments was suggesting the lady have a stay-at-home husband. I did make the mistake to support my EX-husband due to what I felt was genuine illness...only to realise many years later that this man was a malingerer and a looter. Anyone who would suggest such a thing should realise what a nightmare it is for a woman to support a man. Along with a child, it would be an absolute hell.
