It DOES give SOMETHING to families without children (it even implicitly acknowledges their existence because it says "...families with children"), but what I wanna know is... am I still going to owe the ~$8000 for taking out $25K from the beneficiary IRA (I used it to pay off some student loans). Probably.

My pet peeve is the way W is acting like this is going to make a big-huge difference in people's lives...and the economy. I just can't wait until he is Gone.
