I'm sure these have been seen before but, enjoy..

These are actual comments made on students' report cards by teachers
in
the New York City public school system.
All teachers were reprimanded but, boy, are these funny!!!

1. Since my last report, your child has reached rock bottom and has
started to dig..
2. I would not allow this student to breed.
3. Your child has delusions of adequacy.
4. Your son is depriving a village some where of an 'idiot'.
5. Your son sets low personal standards, and then consistently fails
to achieve them.
6. The student has a 'full six-pack' but lacks the plastic thing to
hold it all together.
7. This child has been working with glue too much.
8. When your daughter's IQ reaches 50, she should sell.
9. The gates are down, the lights are flashing, but the train isn't
coming
10. If this student were any more stupid, he'd have to be watered
twice a week.
11. It's impossible to believe the sperm that created this child, beat
out 1,000,000 others
12. The wheel is turning, but the hamster is definitely dead.

and elsewhere,
On a students paper: "The girl slipped and lay prostitute at the bottom of the stairs."
The teacher wrote in the margins: "My young man, you must learn to distinguish between a fallen woman and one who has merely slipped."

Can you *IMAGINE* the backlash from a parent should a teacher ever give a comment like one of these to their darling little pweshus? If the shoe fits, wear it.

My, oh my, somebody's ass would be whistlin' Dixie that day!

Yeah, funny as these are, I smell a parody too. For starters, with all the self-esteem garbage practiced in today's schools, no teacher would dare to damage widdle pwecious's self-esteem by saying or writing such things. To be nasty, I must also say that many of these entries show a much higher level of literacy and wit than most of today's public school teachers have.

a) I am not sure where it is from. could be 'onion'. It was sent to me in an email.
b) There have been a few books written on public school inadequacies, failures, and short-comings. (A nation at risk, none dare call it education, etc.)(aside: the whole garbage about homeschooling parents is that they are not certified. I wonder how many of the so called 'real' CA teachers are qualified or capable.)

Bottom line is: who'd really want a kid nowadays anyway?
