Anyone here read Ellen Pecks "The Baby Trap"
April 15, 2008
This was (I think) the ground-breaking work, foundation, for the child-free.
I remember reading it when it first came out and I found it quote appropriate and to the point.
Now, a few of the things where I differ is 'roaming males'. Some of these guys would not if the wife didn't get her head so far up the kids ass that they forget they have a husband and, yes, they'd like a little affection. I don't think Ms Peck intended it, but I got the impression that any guy who pulls kids pictures out of his wallet is looking for some side action.
Next: guys who knock these women up and run off (Like a joke I heard: what is the quickest way to get a guy to disappear...: pull out a pregnancy test kit with a '+' in the window) these women do NOT pick wisely as a general rule.
Heck, I went on too long..
How many here have read it?

I haven't, but I'm curious. When was it written?
