One of my co-workers had to leave early yesterday because the 4 year old bastard son of hers got sick and she had to take him home from his 'school'.
As of today, she's back but the kid (who has strep throat and a stomach virus... again btw) is back at his school. She can't afford to take anymore time off. Lord help the other kids and the parent(s) of same.
She went the smart-ass shack-up with some guy who was obviously incompetent, unstable, and unreliable and thought sprogging was the answer.
This kid is going to be totally out of control by the time he hits 11, I can already see it in the limited contact I've had with him.
Pity. Children need both parents in an intact home. Period.
