I used to work with developmentally disabled people, and let me tell you all- these people were nothing like the "austistic" kids of today. Like another poster said, they look different than everyone else. Many times, they cannot control their movements properly, and they do display odd behavior.

Today's austistic children are pretty normal looking, able to make eye contact (most true austistics will not look a person in the eye- it freaks them out), and whenever they have an "episode", it's nothing more than a tantrum. None of the rocking back and forth, terrible fear, etc.

The breeders chalk it up to where their special miracle of Gawd lands on the spectrum scale. It should be changed to the Brat scale. These kids aren't austistic, they're the product of shitty parents who refuse to take any responsibility for raising their kids. They'd rather have them labled with some disorder, so they have an excuse when someone gets sick of the bullshit. "Oh, Shittums can't help it... He's austistic!"

Exactly! They also want their brats diagnosed autistic so the doctor will write a prescription to drug the kid so the parent doesn't have to put up with its normal behavior.

They want their brats diagnosed autistic, ADD or whatever the trendy "disease" is so that they can get SSI checks. With all the tax-free money they get in the names of their "special" brats, they can buy whatever they want.

A typical breeder who wants a diagnosis to get this easy cash will shop around for a doctor who will label the kid defective.
