The Childfree Taking it in the Ass Once Again

Here's an article that involves the area I live in. As usual, everybody will suffer a tax increase to build a fucking soccer complex for Shitford and Cuntleigh. I say we send the bill to the parents. Not everybody is going to benefit so how is this fair?

I posted my $.02...
Good find KFLL! And OMG..I am SHOCKED at all the comments AGAINST a soccer complex..I mean, it's awesome!!!, I'm totally blown away. Maybe we're not as uncommon as we think guys, maybe our feelings on all the benefits kids and their 'hosts' get are paralleled by many more than we ever imagined. We're coming out y'all, people are getting sick and fucking tired of giving to all these parents and their shitloaves...WOOHOO!! :sw

It's unfair to tax everyone for an amenity that only a select population uses. Why don't they get up a subscription among interested parents to build the "complex"? And the article indicates that there are existing soccer fields--aren't those good enough for the precious ones? In tough economic times, this expenditure of public monies seems remarkably ill-advised.
This is taking it a bit far. I mean, welcome to democracy, people - that's the way it works. You might not live on a rural road either, but that doesn't mean that the tax paying citizens who do shouldn't have a road to their house.

If there's enough people to use it, then go for it. The only bitch I would have is if they can't demonstrate a community need for it, and it will be abandoned and empty in five years. Otherwise, build something to get the little shits off their butts and doing some exercise, it's good for them.

See this is the fundamental problem, the Constitution founded the nation as a Constitutional Republic emphasizing individual liberty, not a democracy.

Democracy = mob rule

So this kind of shit is unconstitutional plain and simple.

This reminds me of the breeders who expect us to pay for the $200 million schools that have Olympic-sized swimming pools, TV studios, fancy architecture and other pricey shit.

Keep working more hours, CF people! Millions of breeders depend on us.

Thanks, I noticed that people forget about that a lot. The Constitution is far from perfect though; at first it was only concerned with the individual liberties of certain white males. You've gotta long way to go, baby!

Ain't that the truth! The right-wingers claim that a woman does not have a Constitutional right to an abortion. Nor does she have the right to have contraception covered...as not having those babies is a CHOICE...while a male has the RIGHT to Viagra as his body does not do what it needs to do for health: have sex. Start saying how cardiac patients have zero right to health care under the Constitution or IVF is not a "right". People will start killing over it. When it comes to reproductive rights, we are going to have a hard time for decades to come. I doubt I will see it in my lifetime when it is not considered a big deal to have an abortion or not to worry that the Christian pro-life pharmacist will snatch our Rx and not fill it.
I hear you loud and clear, Krishna - and this is mainly a response to you, hope it's not too far off the original topic. We ARE going to have a hard time for decades to come with our reproductive rights, you'd better believe it. I'm currently on birth control, and my husband and I are insanely careful, but I think the only way I'm going to be safe in a country like this is to be sterilized. I couldn't imagine getting pregnant and then not being able to have my own choice on how to handle it. My husband was going to get the ol' snippy-snip, but I think given the current state of womens' reproductive rights, I almost don't feel safe enough unless I take the matter into my own hands, as it were.

Last I knew, all one needed to play soccer was a large grassy field and a ball.

Democracy also has a history of being about superior white males, ancient Greece anyone?

I'm not concerned with the past.

We live in a democracy (mob rule) and that's why the breeders have everything and we get to eat shit.

Good thing we still have the first amendment left and can post on bratfree.

I am glad to see many of the comments are against the soccer fields. It gives me hope that people here in the Valley are growing brains.

I am firmly of a mind that paruhnts need to start paying their fair share. I was smart enough not to have them and I really resent that any of my taxmonies go to support brats and their "needs". Soccer fields already exist--let them use those.

Same here. If I had my way, we would all pay the same tax rate with no special credits for anyone.

Keep working more hours, CF people! Millions of breeders depend on us.
If income tax was charged based on purchases, that would take care of the farkin illegals, wouldn't it. They would be paying income tax.
Conservatives often rant that the "death tax" (actually, the estate tax on larger estates after someone's death) is unfair and that a rich person's death "should not be a taxable event". In other words, death should be unaffected by taxes.

They should apply the same principle in reverse to births and sprogs. To be consistent in the logic, they should advocate that sprogging should not be a reason for tax exemptions and deductions. So birth should be unaffected one way or another by taxes just as conservatives want death to be.
