Now this i agree with, but so it is with many faiths, and their comparative extremists.

Do I expose myself to conversion attempts for expressing a lack of faith? Yes I do, but I do it gladly, because I am currently solid in that belief. One can attempt to convert me all they want, but it will only waste time because I can't fathom the basic concept of giving up everything that makes sense to me for a belief in a fictional book, or an invisible entity.
Do you expose yourself to ridicule for expressing a faith? Probably, because there are a lot of different beliefs out there, and most people who adhere to those beliefs believe those to be the only true beliefs. If you are strong in your faith, what's a little ridicule?

It's your choice. If you care about what other people think of you, or you aren't strong in your faith, it might be best to keep your mouth shut. If you believe that you are able to express your faith in a way that might educate someone, then it might be useful. If you believe you can argue, or discuss, your faith with someone who has different views AND hear their views, what could be better, really?

RR mrec is an asshole and started the name calling from the get go, just as merc has his opinion of some sort of silly gawd,, i have my opinion that its stupid

I don't know what this is supposed to be about, but the content of this out and out abuse says it all,

As I stated in my last postings on this board and in particular this subject is offensive, is getting more and more abusive in the posting by certain people.

Yes people are allowed to have their own point of view but it is not necessary to use foul and abusive language I think this is in order to shock or maybe not perhaps its the way they talk normally.

If I had to resort to speech as above I would be ashamed of myself.

Althought i am guilty of hate and profanity from time to time, I too agree that this should stop.
